Acoustimac’s sound control products are classified into two main areas

ACOUSTIC TREATMENT

Reduce unwanted sound generated from within your enclosed space.

Echoes, reverberation, and sound reflection are increasing unwanted noise and causing sound to travel farther and at higher volume.

  • Muddled audio from amplified speakers, music or speech, are compromising the sound quality of your expensive Audio or PA system.
  • Your working environment gets noisy enough to where occupants almost need to shout to be understood.
  • Telephone conversations are difficult on both sides.
  • Retail Visitors, or Dining Guests and Customers, complaining or deciding not to repeat business with you because your space is too noisy for their comfort.

These problems can be solved using our acoustic treatment products in the right amounts, relative to your room’s dimensions. If you would like to address one or more of the above issues, choose this option to move on to the next step, where we calculate how much coverage in our acoustic products you’ll be needing.

SOUNDPROOFING

Reduce unwanted sound leaking in or out of your enclosed space.

  • Sound is leaking into your space from outside or a nearby building
  • Sound from inside your building is leaking outside or to your neighbors
  • Sound is leaking from a neighboring room in the same building

Sound panel treatment is very helpful in reducing unwanted sound generated within the same room the sound is coming from. They can also be helpful in reducing overall sound output from the room in which they're installed. However, if sound is leaking in from outside the room, sound panels might not be the answer.

Acoustimac offers the most effective soundproofing materials, however, soundproofing is a job that should only performed by, or under the supervision of, an experienced professional or contractor. It will most likely involve medium to extensive alterations to your walls and/or ceilings. If you are a contractor or handyman, or are confident enough to take on the project yourself, choose this option to move to the next step, were we can calculate how much material you will need, based on the amount of square feet you will be working with on your project.
